Tim Lucas Construction is a full-service, boutique building company servicing the greater Wellington region. Their goal is to create beautiful spaces by building new or breathing new life into existing homes.
Tim Lucas Construction is run by husband-and-wife team Tim and Kerstin, and supported by their fantastic team. Tim has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry and Kerstin a strong background in project management and problem solving.
When you build or renovate your Wellington home with Tim Lucas Construction, Tim and Kerstin will be alongside you all the way, from your first contact through to handing over the keys. Nothing is too much trouble when it comes to their clients. They love building strong working relationships and crafting beautiful spaces.

Project Manager
Tim has worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years and has been involved in a vast range of projects, gaining extensive experience. He loves a challenge, so he relishes projects that involve tricky sites or highly detailed builds. His favourite part of the job is handing over an exceptional home to happy clients.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys nothing more than spending time with Kerstin and their three boys. He is also passionate about sport, having played professional cricket in the past. These days, he loves snowboarding, surfing, mountain biking, and coaching his kids.

Kerstin Lucas
Business Manager
Kerstin comes from a science background, with a PhD in chemistry. She became involved in Tim Lucas Construction when their first son was young and hasn't looked back. She loves project managing and working with everyone involved in a build project, using her problem solving and systems skills to the fullest. Her favourite part of the job is walking her clients through the entire process and helping them see their vision come to life.
In her spare time, Kerstin enjoys watching their three sons play sport. She loves to get outside, spending time at the beach and camping. She also likes to get plenty of exercise.

Meet
First, we meet with you to discuss your wants and needs so we can fully embrace your vision.
Design
We work with you and our trusted network of draughtsmen/architects to produce the perfect design for your project. We listen to your ideas and combine them with our expertise and know-how.
Price and contract
We price your project to ensure it fits within your budget and present you with a Master Build Contract.
Construction
We obtain the required council consents and manage your build from start to finish, communicating any issues or delays straight away.
Delivery
We deliver your finished home on time and on budget. Our ongoing personal service and after-build support means we are only ever a phone call away if you need us.
